This dynamic online program is the beginning of a rewarding career in manual osteopathy. An Associate Certificate in Osteopathy, in addition to your current qualification in the wellness or fitness industry, prepares you for employment in physiotherapy clinics, sport coaching facilities, and integrated healthcare centres around the world. By the completion of the study, you will:

• Understand the philosophy and principles of osteopathy-based healthcare;
• Expand your knowledge of functional anatomy and biomechanics;
• Become familiar with health conditions and pathology of over 100 diseases; 
• Deepen your understanding of systemic anatomy and physiology of all body systems;
• Learn how to take clients’ case history and perform an osteopathic physical assessment; 
• Learn the most effective techniques osteopaths use to address muscular and joint problems.

This program serves as a stepping stone to the Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP): all six courses may be applied as credits toward the DOMP curriculum.

Admission

Open admission: experience in health or wellness is advisable, but not required.

Evaluation

The passing grade is 75%. Students’ progress is evaluated through quizzes and a final course exam.
